Ko Sauma au Today my class is going to be learning about the Kingdom of Tonga, THIS WEEK IS TONGAN LANGUAGE WEEK!! The whole of Team 5 is going to be focusing on learning facts about Tonga and more information on words which is amazing,it will be really great to see how my class and I are learning NEW CULTURE!!! The capital of Tonga is Nuku'alofa which is the city in Tonga where my Mum was raised at, where the Queen of Tonga,and the great sightseeing to be seen and great people, the theme of this years Tongan Week is Fakakoloa 'o Aotearoa 'aki 'a e Lotu Mo'oni" which means in Tongan is Enriching Aotearoa New Zealand through Prayer and Faith, each year is a different theme and how we promote richness of Tongan Language Week!! Tongan has great amazing events and how they celebrate the Helal flower festival and how amazing Tongan models come together and show others their own amazing talent.
