  1. Malo e lelei Sauma,

It is great to see that you have attempted our bonus activity for Day #2. Good on you! It is a bit of a tricky question as we are looking for you to do some maths. For this question, we'd like to know how much water you need to feed a cactus over the course of one full year (365 years). Let's imagine that you were supposed to feed it 3 ml of water every day. How much water would you give it in a year?

Please hop back onto your blog and tell us what you think. We will be sure to read your post and provide a comment. We will also be able to give you full points for this activity if you try to do the maths problem that we have created.

In the meantime, I really hope that you are having a wonderful holiday with your family!

Look forward to continuing the Summer Learning Journey with you in 2019.

    Bye for now!

    Rachel :)

  2. Hi Sauma,

This is Ms Nalder! I'm so happy to see that you are doing the Summer Learning Journey this year! I can't wait to see more of your blog posts!

Can you work out 365 x 3? That's what the maths question is asking you. It's very tricky isn't it?! Maybe your mum or Lucy could help you solve it and teach you how to work out tricky problems like this!

If you're not sure, write a comment on here and someone will help you!

I hope you and your family are well!

    Best wishes,
    Ms Nalder

  3. Hi Sauma...great to see you blogging on the SLJ. There's still some time to complete the activities before school begins - how many more can you get done? Keep up the great work.
