First day back @ ScHoOl!
Today is one of those days when I return back @ ScHoOl! isn't that amazing. First day back, after many weeks at home isolating, us P.E.S students are keeping our distance, like wise sanitising and plenty more, we cough sneeze in our elbows, and use the tissues for running nose. Firstly we sanitise before we enter our classrooms, continuing to keep our distance between each other, we read what's on the board as of the "Ideas for to do list" pretty much secluding our learning, or like keeping organised. That's basically the first step, secondly we wait until 9:00am to do our Team 5 meeting, we talk through what we are doing for the day etc. Feel free to leave a positive comment.

Term 4 Writing Test: Y7/8 EXPLANATION
Tittle: A special place
Introduction:
Have you ever thought of a special place/area you enjoy visiting? One of the top three places I enjoy visiting is the Diary,Auckland Domain Duck Pond, and Glen innes center. These locations are one of the common areas that the community visits most days, they have a particular meaning which is quite the fit.
Information:
One of the areas the community enjoys visiting is the Diary, it has people’s experience throughout their younger age, it’s a place to buy food at a cheaper range. Diaries bring us closer to ordinary people and an everyday life as it was really lived than any other.
Information:
Secondly the Auckland Domain Duck Pond, it is a commonly visited area, it has it’s respect in many ways to the people. The Domain Duck Pond is a walk way, an area that is near a beach. The community has its own meaning for visiting the area. It’s a place where people feel relaxed, and free, it gives you feelings on nature.
Information:
The Glenn Innes Center, is an open area to any, it’s a place where there are many stores that you could buy from. It’s known for its good people, the community is a great place to communicate with the public, you could even visit the library in your own time to read.
Conclusion:
And there, the top common areas/places that I enjoy so much visiting. Do you have a special place/area you like visiting? Well I would recommend visiting the areas.
Kia Ora Everyone,
For this morning's activity the Team 5 students were in a writing test up to 9:30am - 10:29am. I had to choose different places to write about, I needed to write and explain to my reader why this place is special. Feel free to leave a positive a comment/feed -back. :) -Sauma

Why is school so important? Pre-test/Writing
Why is school so important?
Have you ever wondered if school was so important? School is a way to help children become educated. One of the three elements i’ll be sharing is, The definition of a school, Why is school the most important part of our child's life, What does school do or help children? The definition of school is a place or building used for instruction, learning and education. School means to train, educate, teach or discipline someone or something.
For example, it's a way to train, teach those students before they head to college. School is one of those buildings that even helps your child become independent. It gives your child a little hint on what they want to do in the future.
Why is school the most important part of our child's life? It gives valuable classes to the child in terms of knowledge, growth, and development. For example, school provides knowledge for being social and interactive with different people. School is always there to help the children have a better curriculum. The children have the opportunity to develop throughout the years.
What does school do or help children? With schools they provide an environment where we can learn a lot of basic skills.
For example to kick off they would start to learn the alphabet, numbers, and even do some simple arithmetic problems. They also get the chance to practice their drawing, building, problem solving, and cognitive skills. It would give them many opportunities.
