Let's Get It Done In 2021! (Hauora Talk)

Kia Ora Everyone,

Today for our 'Hauora' session the year 7's & 8's girls were learning about "TAKING RESPONSIBILITY". To kick off us girls were playing a fun activity. The game was that a word would pop up on the screen and we had to come up with a sentence. Through out the lesson we talked about the responsibility we had for our self and for others. Here is a few pictures of the slide shows. I learned to take responsibility for my own self and for my surroundings and my actions, and to always take notice on what i'm doing! Feel free to take a look above at the photos!

Title - Why are we in LOCKDOWN!

I

Introduction - Today I will be explaining ‘Why Are We In LOCKDOWN!’ Firstly there are many reasons for us to be in Lockdown, there are viruses to explain. And many more!

I

Information - First comes to mind is illness/virus, Here in New Zealand we have currently 5,749 cases added all together, and 28 deaths. Throughout lockdown it had been challenging for a few families as parents had to go work!

Infomation - Secondly, lockdown is there to help the people minimise the spread of the ‘covid 19 OUTBREAK’ which the covid had made a large impact in our lives.

C

Conclusion - Overall the fact is that we should ‘Stay Safe’ and keep a distance, wash your hands, and also SANITIZE! AND stay a 2-meter distance from each other.

(Secondly I enjoyed TEAM 3 because it showed the real meaning of  “Wants & Needs” which is very helpful especially during lockdown. Which they show good examples!  )

(Finally I enjoyed TEAM 5’s fun energetic movie/performance, it showed a lot of good information like “Don’t take information that are untrue from online” this is a great topic especially through lockdown we wouldn't want things that are untrue. )

C

Conclusion - (So there you have one of my favorite highlights from this morning's “Immersion Assembly” . These are one of the best topics especially during lock-down that could even help benefit our own selves or to another.)
